General

The Active Classes page is showing classes which can or do have active students within the date period.

Image Modified

Most of the content is a repeat of the class details specified on the Classes page

Active Students and Assigned Students

Assigned Students is a count of the number of students that have been assigned to the class on the Classes page.

Active Students is a count of the number of students that are currently connected into the system and accessing this particular class.

It is possible to have more students than assigned if someone changes the class assignments after students have already started.

Live Status

Access the Live Status by selecting this button for the class of interest:

The live status of that class will display all the students that are assigned to the class:

All dashes for the columns means that the user is not connected

Region shows the region in which the streaming server is located.  This will normally be the same as the class setting, but can vary if the class region is changed after the student logs in.

Country shows the country in which the student is located.  This is unrelated to the region in which the class is being hosted.

Mode shows various entries based on the state of the system.  Some examples include, but are limited to:

  • Idle - The student is at the Content Launcher screen
  • Launching - Some content is being loaded
  • Running - Content is running but a lesson has not been selected
  • Stopped - Content has shutdown
  • Practice - A lesson is running in practice mode
  • Assessment - A lesson is running in assessment mode

Content shows the content the student is running.  If blank, they haven't chosen content from the launcher yet.

Current Lesson shows what lesson the student is running.  If blank, they haven't started a lesson yet.

Progress bar shows progress through the current lesson.  If blank the lesson is not selected or just starting.

Elapsed Time is the time that the current lesson has been active.  If blank, no lesson is active.

Connected is the time since the student logged into the system.

Note
titleNote

The entries don't immediately disappear as soon as the student logs out.  They will timeout after 15 minutes.  So, it is possible to see an Idle entry for a student that has logged out up to 15 minutes ago.
