General

Classes are assigned by an Instructor.

It is possible to be assigned to more than one class at the same time.

The Class Selection page allows you to choose the one you wish to join.

After logging in you will see a page like this.

Select the Class

Check the display email address to ensure that you are logging in as yourself, and not some else that you might be sharing a computer with.

Select the class you want to attend and press "Let's Go!"

There are two possible reasons you may not be able to select a class...

Daily Class Times

Each class has a time period during which it is available.

If the current time is outside that window, you will not be able to launch the class.

Other Region

Each class is assigned a specific region.  All students must take the class from that region.

If you have been assigned a class in a remote region and you try to launch it, you will get a popup like this.

The first choice should be to ask the instructor for a class assigned to your region.

If that is not an option, it is possible to launch a class in a remote region.  Clicking OK will take you to that remote region where you can launch it without warning.

However, if the region is significantly further from your default region, the performance and interactivity may be significantly degraded.

Class Launching

You will a series of screens while the system starts up a streaming instance for you.

Normally this will take about 2 minutes.

Sometimes it can take up to 10 minutes while additional streaming resources are dynamically allocated.  No action is required during this process.

Camera Permissions

Depending on the class settings, the system may want to use your camera to display your live image to the class facilitator(s).

If so, you will see a popup like this:

If you are okay with the camera being active for the entirety of the session, choose Allow.

If you choose Block, the Facilitator will see a black screen instead of your image.
